Proclamation (vs.2)

We need preachers that will preach against sin. Everyone is born into sin. We are all sinners.

Placement (vs.4-5)

Picture of a baby being born and thrown out without anyone to love and care for it.
No Care (navel was not cut, covered in filth (not washed in water))
No Clothes (not swaddled)
No Compassion (none eye pitied thee to have compassion on thee, but was cast out in the open field)
Not Cherished (the lothing of thy person)

Passing (vs.6)

He Passed By Our Placement (came directly by us)

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;

And saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

He Perceived Our Pollution (saw thee polluted in thine own blood)

Like as a father pitieth his children,

So the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

14  For he knoweth our frame;

He remembereth that we are dust.

15  As for man, his days are as grass:

As a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16  For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone;

And the place thereof shall know it no more.

17  But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,

He Pronounced Our Prevailing (I SAID TO THEE, LIVE)
When Lazarus was dead Jesus said, Lazarus, come forth!
When God says something, it is sure to come to pass.
God said Let there be light, and it’s still here.
God said Let there be a firmament over the waters, and it’s still here.
God spoke the sun, moon, and stars into existence, and they’re still here!

14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

Provision (vs.8-13)

Adoration (thy time was the time of love) (vs.8)

6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Applying (spread my skirt over thee and covered thy nakedness)(vs.8)

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Adoption (I sware unto thee, entered into a covenant with thee, and thou becamest mine)(vs.8)

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Absolving (washed thee with water (That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of the water of the Word))(vs.9)

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither nfornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor pabusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Anointing (oil represents the Holy Spirit)(vs.9)

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Assets (clothing, ornaments, bracelets, necklace, jewels, earrings, a beautiful crown)(vs.10-13)

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, gthrough the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Perfectness (vs.14)

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 †And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
